Cooking Up Azure with Chef Automate

Chef Automate, now available through the Azure Marketplace, is a collaborative platform for managing the state of your Linux, Unix and Windows infrastructure no matter where it is. Built on top of Chef and InSpec, it is the integration of configuration management, compliance, visualization and continuous integration/delivery. This session will cover the open source foundations of Chef Automate and a demo finding a compliance violation, patching it, and deploying the fix for an application stack through Automate's CI/CD workflow.

About the Presenter

Anthony Rees is a member of the Chef Solutions Architecture Team helping organisations with the journey to continuous automation. He has always been an active open source community member and advocate, including OpenStack since the Grizzly days, CloudFoundry from pre-v1.0 and Docker for a few years now.
