Macro at Bribie Island Butterfly House

Update: Due to sudden rain forecasts for Bribie over the weekend, the date has been shifted to Sunday 26 May.

Join us at Bribie Island Butterfly house on 26 May to snap some butterflies.

Plan for the day:

• 10:00am - meet at the entrance to the Butterfly house
• 11:00am - break for drinks/snacks
• Afterwards (optional): The butterfly house will be open until 4.00pm. Feel free to stick around and keep snapping, or disperse to the Bribie Island Memorial Gardens.

Important information:

• Entry fees for the Butterfly House are $12 per adult. Please bring cash or card on the day to pay.
• The Butterfly House does NOT have cafe facilities. Please bring along your own food/drinks (or a plate to share).
• Due to the limited space, tripods are NOT recommended.
• Please DO NOT touch the butterflies.

What to bring:

• Camera (you don't need a macro lens, use whatever camera/lens you have & feel comfortable with)
• Sunscreen & Hats
• Snacks for morning tea (share-plates welcome)
• Water
• Wear comfortable shoes for light walking
