Introduction to GCP BigQuery ML (BQML)

Details

Our Presenter: Rachel Bunder
Rachel is a data scientist at Servian specialising in customer analytics. In her spare time she enjoys crocheting space shuttles, gerrymandering electoral borders and shooting cannons.
She is an organiser for Sydney Python and the Science, Data and Analytics stream for PyconAU.

The Presentation:
BigQuery ML (BQML) is a powerful tool that allows you to build machine learning models using SQL syntax on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). If you are new to BQML and want to learn the basics of building machine learning models on GCP, this talk is for you. In this introductory talk, we will cover the fundamentals of BQML, including data preprocessing, training, model evaluation and using it in the pipeline. By the end of this talk, you will have a solid understanding of BQML's capabilities and be equipped with the knowledge you need to start building your own machine learning models on GCP. Whether you are a data analyst, engineer, or scientist, this talk is an opportunity to learn about BQML and its potential applications. Join us to explore the world of BQML and take your data analysis to the next level!

The event is to be held online, with official kick-off at 6:00 pm and link made available closer to the date.

Event details will be updated as speakers and further details are finalised.
