Session Overview

Join other members, fellow photography enthusiasts for a creative and inspiring morning at the Gallery of Modern Art. We’ll explore the unique architecture, curated exhibits, and public art spaces, capturing both the modern design elements and candid moments.

This session is ideal for street, architectural, fine art, and detail photography. We’ll also spend time around the cultural precinct, including nearby spots like the Queensland Art Gallery and riverfront views.

Important Notes and GOMA Photography Conditions:

• Photography is allowed in most general public areas and for personal, non-commercial use only.
• No flash, tripods, or selfie sticks are permitted inside the galleries.
• Respect artwork boundaries and avoid photographing works where signs indicate “no photography.”
• Be mindful of other patrons and staff – GOMA is a public and cultural space.
• Bag checks may occur upon entry. Travel light if possible.
• Bring fully charged camera or smartphone
• Bring a bottle of water and snack
• Comfy footwear and jacket

Post-Session Catch-Up
We’ll head to GOMA Café Bistro after the session for coffee and a chance to share shots, stories, and ideas.
