Welcome everyone,
I was new to Brisbane when I started this group. I couldn't find an open group which was free, allowed people to connect and plan things. So I set up this one.
The idea behind this group was, and still is, to connect with other photographers.
All photowalks in this group are free. No ticket purchase for anything.
Photography is a way for me to de-stress from general happenings in life. If you like using a camera (of any kind) and would like to hangout with other people who like doing the same, join this group.
Once you join you have to attend at least 5 walks before you can set up our own photowalk to any place. The reason for attending at least 5 walks is to introduce yourself to the community and make sure everyone is comfortable before you can lead your own.
All activities in this group are non-commercial. Several other groups exist out there where you can do paid stuff.
Community guidelines:
You must at all times respect others.
People of all ages, experience levels, races, ethnicities, religions, orientations are encouraged to join. People may also be using different photography mediums (phones, polaroids etc.). This group should feel safe and welcoming to everyone.
If you are someone who likes a specific age group, photography medium or experience level, this group will not be suitable for you.
At all times, this group must carry out ONLY non-commercial activities. If you want to set up a walk it must be free. While general discussions regarding gear are OK, you must not be asked to purchase anything. Please report any such behavior.
