Creating your own holistic Agile framework tailored for the business context

Details
Explore the alternative to adopting frameworks that don't fit or aren't holistic enough to be fully effective. We're thrilled to have Denis Sunny joining us online from Europe with a session that greatly increases your options.
Session Description
Most adoptions of Agile frameworks fail. There can be multiple reasons, yet the root causes are provided below.
1. Lack of Fit. Frameworks do not respond to the actual business context and do not fit the organisational specifics. This results in framework customisations that lack a systemic approach, which would knowledgeably and skilfully drive them in a specific direction. Moreover, the chosen frameworks and their specific implementations are sometimes so far from the actual business needs that customisations have no chance to have any positive effect.
2. Lack of Holisticity. All frameworks address only one side of organisations—structures and processes concerning product development. Most do this at a team level only, while others reach the portfolio level. However, none of them address people management roles, processes, and approaches, including line management, performance evaluation, salaries, bonuses, careers, etc.—all of which have a critical impact on the way people think and behave.
Some of the consequences:
- Conflicting responsibilities and goals between teams and departments
- Multiple dependencies
- Long lead time and low flow efficiency
- Focus on own (department's, team's, individual) performance at the expense of the overall results.
- Team dysfunctions at all levels
- Ultimately, weak business results.
The Alternative
In this session, we will get an overview of the systemic approach to creating agile organisations that enables you to overcome both of the aforementioned pitfalls and eradicate the respective consequences.
Denis will be in Sydney next month (August) for the first ever in-person Designing Agile Organisations (DAO) training course to be held in Australia. Find out more about this during the Meetup.
