## Summary

Anand Bagmar from Applitools will explain how Applitools can help in solving two of the more frustrating issues encountered in web browser automation. Namely, how to eradicate flaky tests and how to handle real user scenarios across multiple devices and applications.

Eradicate Flaky Tests
There are many reasons for functional tests to be flaky. But we do not need to live with that! In this session, with the help of demos, we will look at the following techniques you can use to reduce / eliminate the flakiness of your test execution:

• Reduce number of UI tests
• Use Visual Assertions instead of Functional Assertions
• Remove external dependencies via Intelligent Virtualization
• Bonus: Self-healing to avoid failures due to locator changes

Automating the real-user scenarios across multi-apps, and multi-devices
Some types of scenarios are complex to automate. These are the real-world scenarios having multiple personas (users) interacting with each other to use some business functionalities. These personas may be on the same platform or different (web / mobile-web / native apps / desktop applications). In this session, we will see the following:

• Simulate real-world scenarios, including data-setup for multi-user, multi-app, multi-device tests for web (Selenium WebDriver) and android, iOS, windows applications (Appium) using teswiz
• Execute multi-user, multi-app, multi-device tests easily on local machines and in the cloud
• Increase test coverage using Visual AI

Anand is a Software Quality Evangelist with 20+ years in the software testing field. He is passionate about shipping a quality product, and specializes in Product Quality strategy & execution, and also builds automated testing tools, infrastructure, and frameworks.
