Balancing our lives at times can be overwhelming which puts stress on our nervous systems and can create daily stress, frustration, and mental and physical exhaustion. With all of our chores that we have to do every day, it can be easy to feel a sense of not having a moment to yourself to relax. It is no wonder we at times feel overwhelmed as life is a constant balance of many things, such as work, children, social activities, home, chores, community, volunteering, health, relationships, looking after elders, finances and hobbies. One thing we all need and desire to make more time for is rest, relaxation and being still and reflective. This workshop will walk you through what is Meditation, the different types of Meditations and Breathwork to help alleviate stress, anxiety and PTSD. This workshop will give you holistic tools that you can implement into your everyday life to help overcome the rush that we all feel when we have too much on our plates and are searching and need a way to find peace in our lives again.

I will also end the workshop with a beautiful, guided meditation.

This workshop will be hosted at Teralba Parkland under a beautiful shady willow tree amongst nature which is a wonderful backdrop to meditation. Teralba Parkland is located on Pullen Road, Everton Park and there is parking inside the parkland off Pullen Road and also off Osborne Road. There is also off-street parking all around the parkland. We will meet near the Pullen Road rest rooms and then walk to one of the beautiful willow trees or even to one of the nooks near the Kedron Brook Creek.

Please bring a fold up chair, hat and a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing. I will supply hand out sheets on the day for you to take home.

The fee for this two-hour workshop is $30. It is payable by cash on the day, please bring the correct money as I may not have change.
