Season 2, Episode 1

Welcome to 2020! It sounds so futuristic but we’ve yet to get those flying cars we’ve all been waiting for.

This will be the first meetup of 2020 and it’s gonna be an interesting one — the Meetup will be getting a new burst of life.

I want to talk about my plans to organise training events outside of the regular meetups. These events will focus on using cameras, mastering audio, the green screen, post production in Premiere and more. I’m hoping to be able to offer these sessions to you for free, but some small fee may be required.

I’ve also built a community on Discord which is ready today. This online community will enable everyone to communicate outside of meetups and training events. It’ll also enable people who can’t make the meetups to still take advantage of the group’s collective knowledge. The Discord community can be accessed here: https://discord.gg/b6v9zjW
