Walk the Trachyte circuit, Glasshouse Mountains (under light canopy @ 8 kms)

This is a really great flat walk between Mount Tibrogargan and Mount Tibberoowuccum, through gorgeous rainforest/Aussie bush. Views from the lookout are spectacular, and along the way.

Afterwards, we head off to the Glasshouse Plantation cafe - really great views from there too.

We meet on the Tibrogargan Trail Head, off Marshs Road where there is a large car park and toilets. BUSY CAR PARK so arrive with time up your sleeve.

Walk is suitable for anyone who can comfortably walk 8kms. (The circuit gets its name from the type of volcanic rock which forms many of the Glasshouse Mountains.)

BRING: $3 in coins, and water, and snacks for the lookout where we'll stop to enjoy the view.
WEAR: sunscreen and a hat
CAFE: Glasshouse Plantation
PARKING: make sure you arrive 15 minutes early - busy carpark!
NOTE: think about heading to the Sunshine Coast afterwards for a swim at a Caloundra beach
