Top 3 Qld walk from Noosa to Sunshine Beach (waterfront) (10km return) + lunch

PARKING in Noosa! Make sure you read below.

This gorgeous walk is from Noosa to Sunshine Beach, and return @ 10.4kms. It includes:

1. Walk from Noosa Surf Lifesaving Club, up hill to Noosa National Park - cement path.

2. Two kms on sandy/dusty, mostly full sun path.

3. 2 x 1km beach walks along Alexandra Beach and Sunshine Beach

4. Lunch at Sunshine Beach Surf Lifesaving Club

5. Return on same tracks.

NOTE 1: Alexandria Beach is a nudist beach, so you MIGHT see a FEW mainly old folks with their kits off (nothing sleazy). If you are sensitive to the sight of dangly bits, please don't come on the walk. We'll be walking along the waterfront, and frankly they tend to hang around further up the beach unless swimming - it will be winter, so maybe we'll see much smaller dangly bits. 😅

NOTE 2: Noosa is a notoriously hard place to park. Instead of getting flustered, I strongly advise you to head to the Noosa Reef Hotel, at the top of the hill and park in the back streets. Much easier. You'll then just walk down the hill for 5 minutes, directly to the Surf Club.

BRING: $3 in coins, and 1L water - and money for lunch
WEAR: sunscreen and a hat
SHOES: wear shoes suitable for cement pathways, dirt tracks and the beach. I wear my normal joggers and take them off on the beach, shoving them into a backpack. You'll need shoes/thongs for the Surf Lifesaving Club.
