A favourite walk: Gold Creek Reservoir Circuit, Brookfield (reasonable fitness)

Great walk under heavy canopy. Up, down, around through close bushland, single file track.

But only 5.5kms so you'll get a great workout in fantastic surroundings.

Gold Creek Dam was completed in 1885 to supplement Enoggera as the population of Brisbane grew.

BRING: $3 in coins, and water
WEAR: shoes with great grip
PARKING: arrive early as there is minimal parking but we've never had a problem before
CAFE: great one just up the road
