Building Devops Devices for Fun and Profit
Details
Using Azure DevOps and Github to display dashboards and post updates to teams channels is great but sometimes you want something more physical, blinky and just plain fun.
Todd will explain how you can build these type of devices using the APIS in the devops platforms, a raspberry pi and some simple electronics to bring your devops process to life in fun and sometimes unexpected ways.
This session will demonstrate 2 projects to bring your devops world into the physical world. The first project is a release approval device based on Martin Woodwards "DasDeployer" and Azure Pipelines APIs so easy that even your manager could use it. The second is a PR panel driven by GitHub actions that seems to be devloping a personality of its own.
