Brunch and Pups at Lazy Dog Cafe (Torrance)

I never saw the movie Dog Day Afternoon, but I have always liked the expression "Dog Days of Summer", which BTW is from Jul 3rd - Aug 11 (where did the time go?!). Of course, this bit of trivia leads to our return to Lazy Dog Cafe at Del Amo Mall. Bring your pups - we will sit outside in the patio.

A few of us recently went here after an event and I fell in love with their cocktail called Rum Barrel Punch. I am also intrigued by the Huckleberry Mule. What about food? Maybe the Lumberjack Pancake Tacos (though they sound a bit sweet): bacon candy, fried eggs, shredded jack + cheddar cheese, crispy smashed red potato, green onions wrapped in buttermilk pancakes with cajun gravy on the side [1120 cal]
