Hike is an easy 9.3 miles.
We continue the East bound journey to the northern terminus through October, November and December.
Sunday: We will meet at Providence Metro park at 41.417768, -83.869077 Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522 We leave promptly at 8:30 to carpool back to Vorwerk Park at Defiance point 13, 41.410125, -84.089786 Napoleon, Ohio 43545.
Hike is a modest 12.6 miles, point 10 to 17 on the BT Farout App.
We will meet by 8:30 am at Street parking on North River Road near point 21 of the Defiance map in the town of Waterville. 41.499984, -83.717058 99-31 N River Rd, Waterville, OH 43566
We will leave promptly and carpool back to Providence Metro park at 41.417768, -83.869077 Grand Rapids, Ohio 43522. The hike is an easy 11.1 miles on towpath and streets.
You can park on the street nearest the trail or in a lot beside in Memorial Park. This marks the end of the Defiance map. Map route through Waterville has changed over the years, the NCT turns towards Michigan near here.
We will meet at the lot for The Carter Historic Farms on 18331 Carter Rd, Bowling Green, OH 43402. 41.420282, -83.591494 This lot is .4 north of the trail. We will leave promptly at 8:30 and carpool back to Waterville. 41.499984, -83.717058 99-31 N River Rd, Waterville, OH 43566.
The hike is 12.5 miles on various roadways through Haskins and Sugar Ridge past point 7 of the Pemberville map.
Parking is according to best safety options. Wood County Park system.
