“Lying, Cheating, and Stealing in ADHD: What’s Normal, What’s Not, and What Helps”

During this presentation, Dr. Craig Sidol will help parents understand why children with ADHD may lie, cheat, or steal items. He will discuss what’s developmentally typical, what may be related to ADHD, and when to seek extra support. Parents will leave with practical strategies for reducing power struggles, building accountability, and strengthening trust without shame.

Dr. Craig Sidol, Mid-Atlantic Center for ADHD, has over 15 years of clinical experience delivering evidence-based strategies to improve the lives of individuals with ADHD. In addition, to Dr. Sidol’s clinical work, he is a respected researcher with multiple publications and has been invited to speak locally and internationally on the topics of
ADHD, disruptive behavior, and sleep.
