**Speaker Bio:** John Del Castillo is a technology evangelist at Instaclustr. He was previously an engineering team lead and has worked as a developer for over 15 years across multiple government agencies, startups and Fortune 500 companies.

Cadence, open sourced by Uber, is a service and programming framework that greatly simplifies the development and operations of workflow-style business logic while supporting the most demanding availability, reliability, and scalability requirements.

During this talk, John a previous team leader of the Instaclustr Cadence project will showcase how to create cloud infrastructure using stateful workflows with Cadence.
