About the speaker:
Paulius Gutauskas is the founder of the Canberra Blockchain Community and creator of Skill Studio – Emerging Tech Hub, a civic-space initiative dedicated to making advanced technologies accessible to everyone. Since 2017, Paulius has led hundreds of community events across blockchain, and digital assets helping newcomers build literacy and confidence in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
His work spans education, public interest technology, hands-on workshops, and industry partnerships—including collaborations with ANU, the Cultural Facilities Corporation, DECA, and local tech innovators. Through Skill Studio, Paulius focuses on lowering barriers to entry, empowering people to learn by doing, and fostering a safe, transparent and collaborative approach to emerging technologies.
