Community Connection Walk
Details
Looking for a gentle reason to get outside, meet people, or feel a bit more connected in Canberra?
Join us for a relaxed Community Connection Walk around Lake Burley Griffin. This is a low-pressure walk for anyone who wants fresh air, simple company, and a friendly way to connect with others.
You are welcome to come on your own. Many people do.
There is no pressure to talk, share your story, or know anyone beforehand. You can walk quietly, have a light chat, listen, or just enjoy being outside with other people for a while.
This walk may be a good fit if you are new to Canberra, feeling isolated, supporting someone through a difficult time, going through a hard season yourself, or simply wanting a kind community space.
What to expect:
A relaxed bridge-to-bridge walk, easy walking pace, friendly conversation, and optional coffee afterwards at Margot Wine & Espresso Bar.
When: 1st and 3rd Wednesday, 9:30am
Where: International Flags, Parkes Place West, Lake Burley Griffin
Look for the Roses in the Ocean shirt.
