Please join us for a networking event between data scientists/analysts (from government and industry) and IEEE members (most of whom are master/PhD research students or researchers from academia). This will be an opportunity for students to seek career advice from established data scientists/analysts, and for data scientists/analysts to know about the latest research at universities.

What we will do:

  1. Meet at ANU, and then walk to National Museum.
  2. Take a break and have coffee at the Museum.
  3. Walk back to ANU.

The loop is of around 6km (see map in the 1st photo).
Where to meet:

  • The location to meet is at ANU campus: at South-West corner of Fellows Oval, next to the carpark btw Fellows Road and Fellows Oval.
  • Please click the location link to check the place to meet on map, in case that you cannot find us.

Suggested gears:

  • Hiking shoes or sneakers, water bottle, cap or hat, sunglasses, sun cream

Non-members:

  • Friends and family members are welcome.
  • Note that you have the responsibility to look after your own kids.

Amenities:

  • Toilets available at National Museum.

Notes:

  • If you have reserved, please do come and also arrive on time.
  • If you change your mind or are running late, please text me on mobile or Meetup app in advance. Thanks.
