FREE Photo Exhibit(s) and Opening Reception

"A Sense of Place"

Opening Reception: Friday, September 19, 5–7pm

A group that formed in early 2024 and has been meeting monthly in Provincetown, it's an amazingly talented and diverse group of photographers, all deeply connected to Cape Cod in different ways. Each member explores how place shapes memory, identity, and emotion—so the exhibit is about more than just scenery; it’s about meaning and presence.

Included in the exhibit is work by Emory Petrack MD, with a series of four images titled:

“A Matter of Life and Death: Visual Meditations on Impermanence.”

These photographs emerged from his reflections on aging, his time in emergency medicine, and the moments of transition and vulnerability we all encounter in life.
