Capital District Permaculture Meetup

Details
Join us for this monthly Permaculture Meetup—a gathering for anyone interested in permaculture and designing systems that work in harmony with the natural world. With various rotating topics of focus, we’ll chat about organic gardening, regenerative practices, sustainable landscaping, sustainability, energy systems, composting, community, and more. As we face a myriad of social, economic, and ecological crises, permaculture offers us a tool kit for moving toward ecologically resilient communities. We meet on the 3rd Monday from 6:30PM-8:30PM at Honest Weight Food Co-op in the Community Room and welcome questions, discussion topics, challenges, and good conversation! Registration not required but encouraged. Meetup will only let 10 people RSVP since we are on free plan--come anyways!

The Capital District Permaculture Meetup is a collaborative, non-hierarchical space for shared learning, meaningful conversations, and collective growth. Rooted in mutual respect, we celebrate diverse perspectives and foster a community where everyone’s voice is equally valued. Monthly gatherings feature seasonally relevant permaculture topics, guided by rotating facilitators who support inclusive dialogue rather than assuming leadership. Decisions are made through thoughtful consensus, ensuring that all contributions shape the group’s direction. We reject hierarchy and guru-led structures, embracing co-creation, active listening, and shared responsibility to model permaculture principles of interconnectedness and regenerative growth. Welcome to the circle!
