Wetland Walk (Location & directions in announcement)

In celebration of World Wetlands Day, we’ll explore a small wetland area in the Vosburgh Preserve (Town of Halfmoon). We will gather in this parking area. (Directions to 1 Vosburgh Road, Mechanicville, NY, 12118) Come along for a fun outing to search for and identify a variety of plants in their winter slumber.

Please wear proper footwear for ice/snow.

Weather cancellation: This event will be cancelled if any of the following is occurring or is forecast for this destination at that time:

• moderate or heavy snow (i.e., more than flurries or snow showers),
• sustained winds or wind gusts >25 mph (i.e., treetops are noticeably swaying back and forth),
• rain, freezing rain or sleet,
• windchill at or below 0°F. or
• air temperature <10°F or >40°F.
