Light Painting and Long Exposures

Details
In this session we will explore how you can get amazing effects with light painting tools that are either cheap to buy or are home made. We will also bring along some specialist coloured large orbs. Anna-Mair will go through the correct camera settings to achieve the best results and explain how to use the tools to get the correct effect. We will be teaching some methods for light painting portraits.
Light painting requires a lot of patience and experimentation to get the result you desire but is also fun and extremely satisfying when you see the outcome. During this session you will not only be behind the camera but also in front to experiment with the tools and produce your own work of art. We have chosen this location as it offers us some interesting background and the opportunity to paint some objects with light.
We will confirm the location to you soon but it will be near the Swan River in East Perth or South Perth.
Our meetups start with a brief of how to set the camera for the topic. They are fun and informative with likeminded people and the professional photographer on hand to assist throughout the session.
This small group session is lead by Anna-Mair, a formally trained professional photographer with many years experience of teaching people from beginners to advance to become better photographers. We welcome all cameras. She is a very successful teacher having had many of her former pupils going on to achieve awards and be highly respected photographers in there own right. She is highly regarded by the people she has taught and the methods she uses to teach them photography. She is very patient and understanding and works on the philosophy that there is no such thing as a silly question.
We need more than 3 people minimum booking for this session to go ahead.
