Beverley Air show
Details
Beverly Air Show is a fantastic rural event which will give us opportunities to photograph a variety of aircraft including some doing aerial stunts. There will also be some other activities on the ground which will give us some great images.
We will be using shutter speed mode to freeze the action effectively stopping planes in mid air or blur action for dramatic effect. We will also look at getting some candid crowd reaction shots which will tell the story of the airshow.
A long lens will be an advantage to getting in close to the action but if you don't have one then there are still opportunities for great shots.
Beverley is about 1 hour 45 minutes from Perth CBD but it is well worth the effort. The event starts at 9am and is all day. As yet the full program has not been published but I would suggest that we will meet between 10-1pm unless the program for the afternoon offers us better opportunities. The time will be updated once the full program is released. I would encourage you to stay longer than the meetup and get the most of your entry fee. You will need to pay the admission price in addition to the Meetup cost which currently online is $40 for adults and $35 for concession. There may be tickets available on the gate without the online discount.
This session will go ahead with a minimum of 3 bookings.
