On this session will head to Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe, to play with long exposures using neutral density filters so that we can make people either disappear completely or just appear as a ghostly outline during as we photograph some of the sculptures. There will be hundreds of people on the beach so we will have our work cut out. If all goes to plan then we will have images of the sculptures and either no people showing or just ghostly figures on the beach.
We have timed this session so that we are there for sunset and the afterglow which will add to the creativity of our shots plus by using neutral density filters near the ocean will give us the opportunity to get some smokey water behind the sculptures. You will need a tripod and some neutral density filters to get the most out of this session. We do have a few neutral density filters that we can let you try if you do not have them but they won't fit every lens so if you don't have your own filters please contact us with your filter size .

This session needs a minimum of 3 people to go ahead. If you wish do the afternoon session as well please contact me before you book to arrange discounted price for the 2 sessions.

This small group session is lead by Anna-Mair, a formally trained professional photographer with many years experience of teaching people from beginners to advance to become better photographers. We welcome all cameras. Our meetups start with a brief of how to set the camera for the topic. They are fun and informative with likeminded people and the professional photographer on hand to assist throughout the session. She is highly regarded by the people she has taught and the methods she uses to teach them photography. She is very patient and understanding and works on the philosophy that there is no such thing as a silly question.
