Waterworlds! Joondalup Festival
Details
As part of the Joondalup Festival there will be a water parade called the Acqua Forte Parade happening at Hilary's Boat Harbour.
It is advertised that the Harbour will be 'transformed into a realm of fire, light and dreamlike wonder' as 12 moving figures will interact with each other on the water telling a story with spectacular sensory immersion.
We will try and capture the flavour of the event and not just record it with images of colour, movement, reflections, long exposures and candid portraits.
The parade is between 7:30 so we will meet first for the sunset and have time to grab some fish and chips and find a position before the event begins.
A tripod or monopod will be an advantage as will a longer lens if you want to isolate details.
This small group session is lead by a professional photographer with many years experience of teaching people from beginners to advance to become better photographers. We welcome all cameras. Our Meetups start with a brief of how to set the camera for the topic. They are fun and informative with likeminded people and the professional photographer on hand to assist throughout the session.
We need a minimum of 3 people for this session to go ahead.
