Hello Everyone!

Happy Holidays! As we always do this time of year, we will be celebrating the Winter holidays with a party at

Sandy and Pam's house:

What? Potluck dinner and gift exchange (a white elephant)
NO assigned book this month!
Do: Bring a tasty holiday dish (please bring a main dish if you have not done that yet) and a beverage to share. Remember to post on the Meetup December page what you will be bringing.
Do: bring a wrapped "Book" or "Snuggle up and read" themed gift ($25 limit). Please be aware and thoughtful with your gift - our members celebrate a number of different holidays and have all sorts of religions/beliefs, and the gifts are chosen randomly. Also be aware that not everyone is the same size. Let's have fun with this and get creative!
Get ready for lots of laughter as we unwrap and STEAL each others' gifts!

If your plans change and you can't make it, remember to CHANGE YOUR RSVP!

REMINDER - Sunday, December 21 is the last day to submit titles for books to choose from for next year. We will vote in January. Send your list to: leighbriggs2@gmail.com. Be sure to include the name, the title, and 2 - 3 sentences enticing us to read the book. Without this, the title will not be included in our voting list. Feel free to nominate up to 5 titles. If we have a ton of nominees, I may have to eliminate a few...

ALSO (and I will send another message about this to the whole group, not just the December attendees), I am changing the January meeting date from the 3rd Thursday to the 4th: January 22. The meeting will be at my house: 2805 Tobermory Lane, Raleigh. This gives me an extra week of healing from a knee replacement surgery before our meeting.
I am requesting that I also host February 19 - again, it will be easier for me to get around at my own house (and I generally host twice a year anyway!) I hope this does not inconvenience anyone! Russ will help me set up, and he is hoping for some great titles to be chosen so he can continue to have fun with the questions!
