Easy Like Sunday Morning - NORBATH TRAIL Sunday November 2

Hi all you riders looking for an easy ride - we know some of you prefer riding on trails, so this short ride is entirely on the Norbath Trail, starting and ending at Bicentennial Park in East Allen Township, a bit north of the City of Bethlehem.

Though these rides are intended to support new riders or those returning to cycling after some time away, all are welcome. We try to find easy flat rides, to give you the confidence to ride more. This particular ride is also suitable for youngsters, as the route is completely off-road. We'll go at a slow pace, with ride leaders in front and at the rear, and no one will get dropped.

Our exact meeting place is the Bicentennial Park Liberto Lane parking lot, here. We will be starting the ride at 10 a.m.; feel free to come a little early if you need to air up your tires or make any other minor adjustments to your bike.

We are starting to see some cooler temperatures, so consider dressing in layers; what's comfortable when we're standing around at the beginning of our ride might quickly become too warm, once we start moving. The Norbath trail is a mix of packed gravel and paved surfaces, and is almost entirely flat. You'll find it's a great venue for enjoying the Fall foliage!

We expect to ride for about an hour in total.

If you have any questions or concerns ahead of the ride, please feel free to contact ride leader Anne (annef@lvcat.org).

This ride is weather permitting. Any last minute change or cancellations will be announced on Meetup, so please check there for weather concerns.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning, November 2, at 10 a.m.!
