About us
Catholic Singles 20's - 40 of Greater Pittsburgh (CS2040GP) is a club whose mission is to bring together single Catholics so they can meet in a Christian context. We do this by sponsoring social, recreational, athletic, cultural, charitable, and spiritual activities in which they can participate. ** Must be at least 21 years old to join **
Membership in the CS2040GP Meetup site is free and is open to people who would like to learn more about our club, try some of our activities, and make new friends. The site is part of our outreach to young single Catholics who may not be familiar with our club. It offers a sample of our public activities. Membership in the CSGP Club (officially known as the Catholic Alumni Club (CAC) of Pittsburgh) requires payment of $25 annual dues (for Emailed newsletter, $40 for US Mail) and is open to single Catholics (visit our club's website at [www.CACPittsburgh.org](http://www.cacpittsburgh.org/) for complete details). Club members receive our monthly newsletter, and discounts at some events.
Please note that club members learn about activities through our monthly newsletter and prospective members may find us through other online sources besides Meetup as well as through notices in parish bulletins. There probably will be more people attending a given activity than the Meetup RSVPs would indicate. We hope to see you at an event soon!
The Catholic Alumni Club of Pittsburgh is one chapter out of 20 throughout the United States. The Pittsburgh chapter has been in existence since 1966 and is one of largest and most active.
PS. Please do not solicit our members, contact them with unwarranted Emails, ask for money, etc. Also if you want to get to know someone, attend an event that they are going to and ask them if you can send them a message. I tell members to report unwanted contacting to be reported to the headquarters of Meetup for the person to be removed.
**** Please include a picture of yourself, or a meme. It's much easier to look for you at events rather than a picture of your pet. ****

Snow Hike at Falls Run Park
FALLS RUN PARK, 187 Fall Run Park, Glenshaw 15116, PA, USCAC returns to Falls Run Park to see its several beautiful waterfalls, all frozen in icy splendor. The main hiking trail starts at a large parking lot, and winds through snowy woods, following a frozen stream and leading upward to several waterfalls that are the focal point of the park. One waterfall has a 25-foot drop that you can experience from ground level or from above, thanks to a staircase found along the side. There are several sturdy wooden bridges and staircases throughout the entire trail, making this hike very easy. The entire trip up and back takes only about 1 hour or so, so the cold weather should not overwhelm you. Dress warmly, and wear good hiking shoes or snow shoes. It’s a beautifully scenic hike, so be ready to take pictures. The trail itself is fairly wide and easy to walk on, and due to its location in a shaded valley, it tends to be free of wind.
As usual, we will visit a local restaurant afterwards. Probably the Middle Road Inn.
There is a lovely video of this trail in winter at this link:
