Kitt Peak and Sonoran Desert Loop

Join CGR on an easy day trip to the Saguaro Loop and Kitt Peak! This is a series of sweeping curves that offer a great workout for your tires and even better views of the Baboquivari Mountains. This ride will take you through winding roads and picturesque mountains offering stunning views. From roadside views of HWY 86 up into Kitt Peak, and straight into heart of the Saguaro National Park and on into Gates Pass, which is arguably the most scenic stretch of road in the Tucson area. The tight twists and the sudden drop-off views are breathtaking and not to mention the spectacular views of the Saguaros. From there we head to an authentic Mexican restaurant, El Molinito for lunch. After lunch we will continue either on the 1-10 or frontage road home.
