OFFSITE Winter Solstice Community Gathering w/ Angela Benedetto

6:00 - 7:30 pm (EST), Sunday December 21st, at Chez Joni 283 Forest Trail on IOP.

Winter Solstice is a time of the year to honor our connection to Mother Earth, and all sentient beings. Join us as we gather to share, connect, and enter the new solar cycle in peace, and prepare for the coming holidays.

I’ll be sharing my beautiful alchemy singing bowls as we set a clear intention for peace and healing as our days are blessed with more light.

Bundle up. If It’s not too cold, we’ll gather outside for a small fire ceremony to release what is no longer serving us before restoring our inner being with the sound bath.
We’ll serve coffee, tea, and cider. Feel free to bring your favorite winter season finger food to share.

Sleep over option: There are multiple sleeping options at Chez Joni if you bring your own sheets, blankets, sleeping bags and towels. Please let Joni know if you’re planning to sleep over for planning purposes.

Hi! My name is Angela Benedetto. I’m a native New Yorker new to Charleston and delighted to be here. As student of Spirit, I’ve worn may hats; Educator, Mom, Workshop Facilitator and Light Worker trained in several healing modalities including Reiki, Dolphin Star Temple Mystery School, Awakening your Light Body with Dwayne Packard and Sanaya Roman, and Multi-Cultural Sound Healing. I received my Ph.D. in 2006, where I had the unique opportunity to study with Sound Healers, Light workers, Indigenous Elders, and Energy Healers in the US, India, Peru, and Amazonia.

I retired from my teaching career a few years back, where I enjoyed teaching middle and high school students.

The last decade I shared my time between New York and Redondo Beach California, where I wrote and published the book and film, Dreaming New Schools, wrote healing memoirs and studied screen writing.

I enjoy creating opportunities for healing, expanding consciousness, and discovering and sharing our gifts through loving community.

Future Offerings/Opportunities for Expansion:
Experience the soothing sounds of crystal tone alchemy singing bowls. Sessions with the singing bowls can open and expand your heart center, raise consciousness, and create an extraordinary energy field where deep healing can occur.

Attend monthly sound baths at bliss on the 2nd Saturday of the month beginning January 10, 1-2 pm and private sound healing and spirit readings in your home, or other convenient locations.

Future Intensives may include discovering your authentic voice, using sound as a tool for transformation, and/or additional sound bath/ meditation mini retreats.
