Looking to join a group to play some escape games in Charlotte? Lock yourself in here with us, then!
Never played an escape room before? Never fear! We welcome both the experienced and first timers in our group! It takes all kinds of mindsets for escape rooms, and often new players bring something to the table as much as the experienced do. It's also a great way to meet people and make friends!
For the uninitiated: Escape rooms, or escape games, are exciting hour-long adventure games that take place in rooms full of puzzles and mysteries. You and a squad of people work together to find clues and solve said puzzles, to try and escape before time runs out!
We meet up, have some food and drinks before or after, and have a great time cracking these rooms. Whether you're new or old to escape rooms, try one of our meetups this month!

For Halloween I wanted to try something new. Since Morty covers both escape rooms and haunts, I wanted to put up something spooky for the season! Following our 6:00 escape room at Key to Escape, we'll head up to Midway Wicked Woods! I've never been to this one before, so hopefully it'll be a great time! Be sure to check out all the details below:
Important meetup details:
- Wicked Woods is located 15 mins Northeast of Statesville, so if you're coming from Charlotte, just make sure to plan accordingly!
- You will need to buy your ticket in advance just in case! With it being Saturday, there's a possibility of it being very crowded, so tickets may sell out. If you forget you might be able to join but possibly not our group depending on how they do things. You can buy those tickets online here: https://midwaywickedwoods.fearticket.com/
- Parking is $5 and CASH ONLY! Make sure to plan ahead for that as well.
- Not gonna lie, I've not been here so I don't know where to meet,haha. I'll try my best to communicate where the group is at ahead so that we can find each other. =) Probably outside the entrance. It starts at 8:00 PM, so we'll wait as long as we can for everyone.
