Iva's Annual Soup Hike! Blue Ridge School Long Hike Followed By Lunch

It's time for Iva's Annual Soup hike! Join us for a hike followed by lunch.

The hike will take place at the beautiful Blue Ridge School near Dyke. There is a vast network of trails for hiking and biking, and we will wander them, enjoying large rock outcroppings, mountain hollows and streams, and lush woodland terrain.

We will take a ~6 mile loop with about 1000 feet of elevation change.

We will meet at 9 AM at the Blue Ridge School trailhead parking.

Please bring 2 liters of water, a snack, and layers appropriate for the weather. Hiking poles can be helpful as there are small stream crossings throughout. Maybe there will still be some snowy/icy patches. Carpool if you can.

After the hike, those who would like to share a bowl of soup and conversation are welcome at Briarleigh Farm which is about 10 minutes away. I will provide soup, bread and some drinks; supplement if you like.
