Big Levels Rhododendron Hike

Big Levels Loop 10 Miles Sunday May 31 9:00 AM

We will meet at the Mine Bank Trailhead Blue Ridge Parkway MP 23.
Then hike the St Mary's Trail north to the Jeep Rd (162) to the Bald Mt Trail and from there back to the parking lot.

This is possibly the best hike for rhododendrons which can be spectacular at Big Levels this time of year. Hike is 10 miles with about 1600=1800' elevation gain in total. We will take our time to see what blooming.

Since this is a wilderness area the hike is limited to 10. Please don't sign up unless you feel confident that you are coming. Thank you.
