With the rise of “vibe coding” and even major outages like Cloudflare’s recent incident caused by misuse of `useEffect`, it feels like a good time to revisit some React fundamentals. This talk will focus on three hooks — `useEffect`, `useMemo`, and `useCallback` — exploring how to use them effectively and avoid some of the most common pitfalls.About the speaker 👨💻
Subhra is a developer at MadeCurious who has been working with React on and off for around six years. He’s no stranger to the same mistakes he’ll be covering in this session — so expect plenty of practical tips grounded in real-world experience.👉 We’re also trying something new this year: we’ll be recording the talk.
