What we’re about
Chicago's dynamic professional women: Are you ready to connect, collaborate, and celebrate? This group is designed for you—Chicago-based professionals and those visiting our vibrant city. We're building a community of accomplished women who value networking, genuine connections, and enriching experiences. Join us for sophisticated cocktail hours, engaging book clubs (both virtual and in-person), and exciting travel opportunities. Whether you're a natural extrovert or a thoughtful introvert, all we ask is your active participation, a warm spirit of inclusivity (no cliques!), and a willingness to support and uplift fellow members' businesses and personal lives. Let's share ideas, build lasting friendships, and create a powerful network of women who inspire and empower each other. New to Meetup? Your insights and suggestions are welcome as we shape this group together. Bring your business cards, your positive energy, and your authentic self – we can't wait to connect with you!

Chicago Blues at Kingston Mines
Kingston Mines, 2548 N Halsted St, Chicago, IL, USHello all! O welcome all positive and friendly blues music lovers to join me at Kingston Mines!
from website:kingston mines
Cost 20.00 at door plus food and drink. I suggest you go to their website and buy a ticket in case it gets crowded. I will be buying mine in advance. They charge a 3.00 fee which is better than planning a night and not being able to get in. I used to love this place, lets see of it is still cool. There is food for purchase at the venue.
### Since 1968
Founded in 1968, Kingston Mines is the largest and oldest continuously operating blues club in Chicago. Its two stages have been graced by the likes of Magic Slim, Koko Taylor, Sugar Blue, Billy Branch, Junior Wells, Mike Wheeler, Joanna Connor, and scores of other musical greats.
Kingston Mines has been the recipient of numerous awards over the years, including the Chicago Reader’s 2016 Best Blues Club, Chicago Music Awards 2016 Most Popular Blues Club Award (again!) & 2016 Torch Bearer of Blues in Chicago Award, a Chicago Concierge Favorites Award and a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence. What keeps the Kingston Mines alive today, is the same thing that allowed its birth in the stormy 1960s…passion!
We invite you to come on down, get comfortable, enjoy some delicious fare from Doc’s Kitchen, and open your ears to some of Chicago’s best live music – and remember our motto: “Hear Blues – Drink Booze – Talk Loud – You’re Among Friends1 attendee
