Parking
Parking in downtown Lake Geneva is mostly paid and it's expensive. There are 2 parking lots that're free and they're first come first served. We will all meet in the smaller Sage Parking Lot. If the lot is full, there's another parking lot a short distance to the north in between the tennis courts and elementary school.

Hike Description
We will depart at exactly 9:15am with whoever has arrived. The entirety of the path will take place on Geneva Lake Shore Path. Property owners on the lake are obligated to each maintain their section of the path. So the terrain will vary widely. Some owners put an entire garden on their part of the path, while others might just have a dirt trail. Everything is publicly accessible however. We are basically hiking a narrow path in people's backyards, but the views will be amazing. There will be plenty of water, mansions, beaches, nice houses, and even a state park along the route. It'll be especially gorgeous at the end, when all the lights come on. It will certainly be a memorable adventure.

Shorter Option
10 miles starting at Elm Park and ending at the Western edge of the lake at Reid Park. Lynette will be waiting there to ferry people back to their cars after the hike. This hike should take under 4 hours.

Death March Option
Despite the name, the hike will be at a 2.75 mile an hour pace. There will be a 10-15 minute break every 4-6 miles. The hike should take 9 hours total to complete. The sun sets at 4:37pm, so the last hour or so will be in the dark. However, we should be in the last quarter of the hike by this time and we will be in the suburban residential area of Lake Geneva, so it will be plenty lit.

Thank you to Lynette for running the support car to ferry people back to their cars.
