The Barn is a restaurant dedicated to using suppliers within a 30 mile radius of Chichester. (Goodwood Farm, Flint Owl Bakery, Arundel, Curing Rebels, Brighton for charcuterie). You could say its “the Narnia of Chichester” located in the city centre but with a secret courtyard at the back, full of individual chalets for a totally unique dining experience. Weather permitting we will sit here, otherwise the cosy inside will welcome us.
At The Barn we believe to eat well you need to care about where your food comes from. Eating more seasonally and locally has so many health and social benefits. We also believe that food waste is a huge problem for us all and which is crazy given the wealth in the world today.
At The Barn the ethos is five-fold

Celebrate culinary diversity, there are so many wonderful foods and heritage varieties being produced on our doorsteps. Be curious and try something new!
Finally, buy less buy better, spend your money on the best quality you can afford’. With over a third of food in the Uk wasted, we can reduce waste, save money, and use those savings to invest in better-quality, higher-welfare ingredients.
At The Barn, Chichester, we have always striven to serve local, delicious, seasonal food made from scratch. Inspired by our globe-trotting adventures, we've brought back best flavours from our travels. Influenced most of all by the vibrant, flavoursome and wonderfully unfrilly diets of the Mediterranean. But it goes deeper, we think Slow Food sums it up best: "linking the pleasure of food with a commitment to the community". When you eat seasonally and support local producers, you’re nourishing yourself and your community.

At the front shop you will find books, knitwear, art and homewares and try to escape before buying a piece of delicious cake!!!

New last September and last visited October 2024. South Indian/ Sri Lankan Restaurant in Lennox Street Bognor. This is a small boutique restaurant, max 25- 29 covers a little special.

Please note a Tursday to avoid the bank holiday.

Cancellation Policy
I am not taking a deposit but I do ask if you do need to cancel you change your RSVP on Meet up to allow others to take your place. I would also ask you cancel as soon as you know you will be unable to attend and not leave it to the day of the event. I appreciate genuine emergencies do happen and if you do need to cancel within 24 hours of the event please not only change your RSVP but message me in order that I can offer your place to someone else (even if no waiting list) and/or advise the restaurant as to the change of numbers. Please also remember to change your RSVP if you are on the waiting list and can no longer attend. Late cancellations on the evening of the Curry Club (after 5pm) may result in you being charged.
If you have RSVP’d as going please do turn up.

Pleases allow for 10%- 12.50% tip.

Time to enjoy the fresh air of summer in Priory Park. We meet at the cafe which has lots of outside tables. Hot and cold drinks, cakes and nibbles available. There are inside seats, should it rain.
