Walk length 11.5 miles/18.5 km approx. Circular.

A really picturesque circular walk from Saunderton Station up to the small Chiltern village of Bledlow across a variety of landscapes from scenic views to wooded tracks, with a few climbs.

Some of this walk is on the Ridgeway National Trail, a path that follows tracks going back to prehistoric times and used by travelers and herdsman.

Bledlow village is on the border between Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. The parish church Holy Trinity is described as one of England's 1,000 best churches and is a Grade I listed building that dates back to the 12th century.

There is a secret garden in Bledlow village, a water garden provided by the Carington family for the benefit of the village of Bledlow which we will try to visit.

The walk should finish before 4.30pm and include an optional pub stop at the end (the pub is 5minutes from the rail station) however the end time may be slightly earlier or later than this depending on the weather and pace.
