Bible Study: Escaping Despair - A Deadly Giant

NEW LOCATION for Bible study and discussion - going through the book Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan. Remember, we are discussing this book and the Scriptures and topics in it, so this is still a Bible study. This meetup is both in person and on zoom.

For those able to meet in South Jersey - we are meeting at the Collingswood Community Center (also site of Living Church of SJ). Come have a cup of coffee or tea or whatever you like and have a Bible study with us.

This week: We meet a giant named Despair, who lives in Doubting Castle. How can despair or depression lead to being locked in dungeon? What is the escape? Why do some stay there so long? The on to the Delectable Mountains and the safety of shepherds. Do Christians need the oversight or guidance of a shepherd (Bible word is pastor)? Can Christians do well on their own with their Bible and
