Monty Python’s Cocurricular Mediaeval Reenactment Programme is a rigorous course of study intended only for serious students of English History. It is by no means a complete and comprehensive manual for running imaginative, highly unpredictable, Mediaeval-themed role-playing games based upon the complete comedic output of Monty Python with one’s friends.
Though the Programme is set in Mediaeval England, it draws upon Monty Python’s entire catalogue to render up an interactive world full of their unique characters, creations, and sensibilities. All of this may be brought to bear for long-term campaigning or just a single evening of educational advancement. Participants need not be familiar with Monty Python’s work in order to participate, nor is role-playing game experience required. (The latter would be entirely useless, as this is emphatically not a role-playing game, and if you do have extensive experience with such things, you are likely too silly a person to participate in this Programme and should stop reading immediately.)

The Pontiff has travelled to England and set up shop in Canterbury Cathedral - it's the hottest ticket in town! However, Pope John XII is a trifle naughty, as it turns out, and God needs a few Prim Chastisers to administer a stern spanking to the improprietous Pope's derrière.

Participants shall be provided with "character sheets" detailing a variety of Situations (that is to say, one's role/job/calling/career) and the Programme's operations shall be instructed to the Reenactors in order to achieve RIGOROUS EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES!

Additionally, Participants are suggested, though not required to bring any or all of the following:

• Paper
• Writing utensils
• ̶S̶p̶a̶m̶
• Dice (this programme employs less common dice such the d14, d16, d18, and d30. I can provide such as I am not expectant of you to have these)
• Tokens for tracking spots on your character sheet (though a drawn circle works just as well)
• An open mind and sense of humour ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶s̶p̶a̶m̶

After being crowned the Xcrawl Div. III Champions in their debut year, our band of heroes, the Golem Gutters, are enjoying the international break between seasons. They’ve been tasked with representing the Great Northern American Empire in the Xcrawl Olympics.

This event will have a myriad of events, each with the flavor of the host nations from around the globe.

But with the cryptic message our team received on New Year’s Eve, is something else afoot? Why was a fresh Div II team tasked with something so important to the empire? Join us to find out.
