Do you have an interest, or even a passion for photography? Would you enjoy photographing in a vibrant, urban environment, along with other friendly and engaging people who share your interest? Are you a beginner, intermediate, or expert/pro photographer? Then you belong with us!
Our mission is to photographically explore Boston and its environs. Our vision for our Members is to learn from someone who know more than you and teach someone who know less than you. There are so many extraordinary places to photograph in the Boston area… can't wait to shoot them with you!
Our group will have at least one free, fun photo event every month, and we will also offer premium workshops (i.e., those with a fee) as well as individual and small group instruction.

- Nature's Oasis in the City: Get ready to be spellbound by the Rose Kennedy Greenway, a lush and vibrant urban park that stretches for 1.5 miles, weaving its way through the city's bustling landscape. This incredible green space features beautifully landscaped gardens, meandering pathways, and art installations, all of which serve as exceptional backdrops for your photographs.
- Important Tips
- Bring your favorite camera gear, whether it's a DSLR, mirrorless, or even just your smartphone. The focus is on creativity and fun, regardless of the equipment.
- A lot of scenes, and especially the architecture along the way, will benefit from a wide-angle view.
- Dress comfortably and wear suitable footwear, as we'll be covering a decent distance on foot - it's about 1.5 miles from the beginning to the Gateway Arch at Chinatown.
- Don't forget to bring some water and snacks to keep yourself energized during the walk.
- Respect the park's rules and the surrounding environment as we capture its beauty.

Join us - two passionate and experienced photographers, Dmitriy Andreyev and Steve Rosenbach - for a 2-day hands-on photography experience in the heart of New York City during the stunning fall season.
With our deep knowledge of New York City and experience leading many successful workshops, we have designed a fresh new program that features must-see locations at the best possible times for lighting and atmosphere - all while keeping the energy high and participants inspired at every stop.
Whether you are shooting on a DSLR, mirrorless, or your smartphone, this workshop is built for all levels of photographers and includes both group instruction and individual coaching throughout the weekend.

Sunrise on the Hudson - Manhattan Skyline from Hoboken
We will start early to capture the dramatic sunrise over the Manhattan skyline, shooting from one of the best vantage points: the waterfront in Hoboken, NJ.Optional Rest & Hoboken Exploration
After sunrise, enjoy time to relax on scenic Hoboken Pier 1, or continue with optional street and architectural photography around Hoboken’s charming waterfront district.Afternoon Central Park Photo Walk
In the afternoon, we will explore some of Central Park’s most picturesque and photogenic areas, focusing on landscape, architectural, and candid photography opportunities.Sunset Voyage - Staten Island Ferry
As the sun sets, we will board the ferry to capture sweeping skyline views of Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty, and the harbor bathed in golden light.Night Photography - Lower Manhattan Skyline from Jersey City
We will finish the evening on the waterfront at Exchange Place in Jersey City, photographing the illuminated Lower Manhattan skyline and learning techniques for low-light and long-exposure photography.Sunday, October 26
Lower Manhattan Exploration - The Financial District
We will photograph the architectural marvels and historic streets of Lower Manhattan, including hidden alleyways, modern skyscrapers, and iconic landmarks.Afternoon Urban Landscapes - Little Island, The High Line & Hudson Yards
Our workshop concludes with a walk through Little Island - NYC’s striking floating park, followed by the elevated perspectives of The High Line and a climb up The Vessel in Hudson Yards for breathtaking urban views.LODGING OPTION (Optional but Recommended)
We have secured a block of rooms at TRYP by Wyndham Newark Downtown, just a quick ride to Manhattan via PATH train:- Single occupancy (2 nights): $431.57
- Double occupancy (2 nights): $235.36 each - you will need to arrange for a roommate
This is a great value hotel just outside the city with easy access to all shooting locations. If you choose to stay at our recommended lodging, we will help you select the best room option after you complete your workshop registration.
