2025 Predictions & 2026 Forecasts

REDUX - Back by popular demand! We're getting together for a second round on January 15 to accommodate all the folks on the waitlist. We will review the predictions that we made last January for 2025 to see how well we were able to foresee the future.

If you were there you will recall our attempts at prognostication - revealing what each of us thought (or hoped) would transpire in the realm of politics and culture and even some personal predictions.

If you weren't there you’ll get to see how well - or poorly - we had our thumbs on the pulse of American life.

From there, we’ll look ahead and develop our predictions for 2026. New members and folks who weren’t at the meeting last year will have a chance to make their best guesses on predictions for 2026 and in January 2027 (OMG!) we’ll repeat this process.

Undoubtedly, there’ll be a lot of laughter, maybe some tears and certainly plenty of discussion!

Potluck as usual: please bring something to share if you’re able (food, drink, or snacks). No pressure — contribution can also be conversation.
