LOCATION: Clear Lake Recreation and Community Center, located at 16511 Diana Ln, Houston, TX 77062, near El Camino and Bay Area Blvd.
START TIMES: Kids 1K: 7:00 AM – 5K: Right After Kids 1K

### About the Lunar Landing 5K and Kids 1K

Apollo 11 was the spaceflight that landed mission commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin, both American, on the lunar module Eagle on July 20, 1969, at 20:17 UTC. Armstrong became the first person to step onto the lunar surface six hours after landing on July 21 at 02:56:15 UTC; Aldrin joined him about 20 minutes later. Michael Collins piloted the command module Columbia alone in lunar orbit while they were on the Moon’s surface. [1]
About This Event: the Lunar Landing 5K is a great way to celebrate one of mankind’s greatest accomplishments.

### all-in-one registration

One registration for five RAS races in 2025

• Yuri’s Night Houston 10K or 5K – Saturday, April 19, 2025
• Texas Heat Wave 5 Mile Run or 5K Run – July 4th, 2025
• Lunar Landing 5K – Saturday, July 19, 2025
• Beneeezy Purple Monkey Fun Run – August 30, 2025
• Santa’s Sleigh 5K – December 13, 2025

• The same person must finish all races in the same calendar year.
• The entire race series can be done virtually by selecting the Virtual option at registration. Athletes may transfer a live registration to the virtual race by contacting us before the actual race date. In both cases Virtual rules apply.
• For the Texas Heatwave, either the 5k or the Five Mile Run will count.
• For Yuri’s Night, either the 5K or the 10K Run will count.
• For the Beneeezy Purple Monkey Fun Run either the 10K or 5K will count.

Every finisher will receive a finisher medal at each race. A special commemorative item will be awarded to all who complete 5 races of the Series, at the Santa’s Sleigh 5K. There are no substitute races and the Boo Dash is not a part of this Series.
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 11:59 pm Thursday, April 17th.
In-Person Registration for the All-In-One Registration for the Texas 5K Series at Yuri’s Night Houston Packet-Pick-up and on Yuri’s Race Day depend on whether we have open slots at that time.
