We will get together whenever classic films are screening (mostly Fathom Events) enjoying the films, camaraderie and an optional dinner to bond and discuss afterwards.

Most events will happen on the West Side at the Regal Crocker Park Theater (Westlake) or Cinemark in Strongsville.

This event is for any members wishing to join us for a 5PM dinner before "The Sound of Music" screening at the Crocker Park Regal Theater at 7PM.

Since this screening is on a Saturday night, I feel I will need to make dinner reservations in advance. Therefore I am keeping this event separate from the screening.

This event is for DINNER ONLY. You do not need to attend "The Sound of Music" screening to attend this dinner. All are welcome.

If you plan to attend both dinner and movie please RSVP for both.

Often considered one of the greatest screen musicals of all time, THE SOUND OF MUSIC (1965) is one of those titles that has to be seen on The Big Screen. Now is your chance to enjoy it in all it's splendor!

Winner of five Academy Awards, the film tells the story of Maria (Julie Andrews), a troublesome but lovable novice in pre-war Austria's Nonnberg Abbey. She is sent to the home of stern widower Captain von Trapp (Christopher Plummer) to act as governess for his neglected seven children. But Maria's life takes a sharp turn when she finds herself falling for the Captain.

Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote the incredible score for their 1959 stage production that served as the basis for this glorious film. "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," "Do-Re-Me," "My Favorite Things" and "Edelweiss" are only a few of the melodies that have found their way into musical theater pop-culture.

Photographed on location in Austria in 70mm and gorgeous color, this film captures all the beauty of the locale where our story unfolds. It definitely needs to be enjoyed on The Big Screen!
