Whether you're a beginner looking for company on your walks or a seasoned rambler, you'll find like-minded individuals to join you on your outdoor escapades. Regular walks are held on Sunday afternoons throughout the year.

Introductory leisurely walk from Tees Barrage up to 5 miles
Tees Barrage, TS17 6QB, Stockton-on-Tees, GBCome and meet the group and join us for an easy, leisurely walk along the River Tees from Tees Barrage towards Stockton, to "blow the cobwebs away" between the festive bank holidays. This walk is ideal for new members/walkers as a good starting level walk where you can safely shorten your walk if you feel it necessary. No special clothing or footwear, just comfortable walking shoes. No mud, all made-up paths, no stiles.
Meeting point will be the "circle of flags" at the side of the car park overlooking the White Water course (What3words ringside.flannel.propose).
Chris S. will lead from the car park up river towards Stockton, crossing the river over the Infinity Bridge, around the waterway inlets to the Millennium Bridge , where we cross back over the river towards Stockton Centre. We continue along the riverside to Victoria Bridge and after crossing this bridge onto Thornaby side we follow the river back to the Tees Barrage bridge and the car park.
Then you are welcome to join us in the Talpore Pub for a coffee/drink and relaxing, friendly company.
