2025/5/24(Sat) Top Rope Climbing for Beginners @Base Camp Kinshicho

Event for Beginners and First-Timers!
Join us for some fun!

• This is a free top rope climbing lesson.
• You don't need any prior experience in bouldering.
• Don't worry if it’s your first time - everyone is welcome!

Cost:

• Drop-in fee: ¥1,430 (18:00 - Close)
• Rental shoes: ¥330
• Harness: ¥110
• Registration fee: ¥1,100 (includes rental shoes and harness)

For first-time visitors to the gym, please arrive 10 minutes early.

• If it's your first time coming to the gym, please fill out the pre-registration form in advance. (If you have not fill out the form in advance, the process will take 10 minutes.)

Schedule:

• 6:00 PM: Meet at the rope climbing wall.
• 6:15 PM: Top rope lesson begins.
• 8:45 PM: Top rope lesson ends.

What to Wear and Bring:

• Keep your nails short
• Comfortable clothes
• Short socks (for rental shoes)
• Climbing shoes (if you have them)
• Harness (if you have one)
• Chalk bag (if you have one)
• Drinks

Points to note when belaying a rope for experienced climbers:

• Please be sure to bring your own belay device (rentals are not accepted)
• Use belay devices such as Petzl Grigri, BlackDiamond ATC-Pilot, Mammut Smart, Climbing Technology Click Up, or Edelrid Mega Jul.
• When using BlackDiamond ATC XP or Petzl Reverso, we will check in advance to see if you can belay correctly.

経験者向けロープのビレイをする場合の注意点：

• 必ず自分のビレイデバイスを持参してください（レンタルは認めません）
• ビレイデバイスはPetzl Grigri、BlackDiamond ATC-Pilot、Mammut Smart、Climbing Technology Click Up、Edelrid Mega Jul などを使ってください
• BlackDiamond ATC XPやPetzl Reversoを使う場合には事前に正しくビレイが出来るかチェックします
