Join us at this "Coding from the Beach" meetup (6-8pm) for an informative session featuring fantastic presentations on two exciting topics: developing apps for blockchain and developing apps for spatial computing.

Presenting will be Apple development specialist and educator, James Dale, and Blockchain developer, Todd Price of BSV Blockchain.

**James will cover:**

* **VisionOS:** How to work with Apple's vision OS - the operating system for the Vision Pro
* **Swift**: how to use SwiftUI to take full advantage of the spectrum of immersion available in visionOS
* **Vision Pro**: We'll have a couple of Vision Pro units on hand so you can check out demo apps and understand the potential of mixed reality user experiences
* **Gestural control**: Learn how the new gestural capabilities supported by VisionOS allow for incredibly fine-grained user experiences

**Todd will cover:**

* **Anatomy of a Transaction:** We'll start at the beginning—understanding the basic structure of a blockchain transaction is essential. No flashy jargon, just the nuts and bolts.
* **Scaling Up:** Learn how a solid grasp of transactions leads to real scalability. We'll discuss how Teranode processes 1 million transactions per second with fees consistently around 0.003¢.
* **Script Predicates and High-Level Languages:** Explore the predicate system of Bitcoin Script and see how its low-level opcodes inspired the development of sCrypt-TS, simplifying the creation of smart contracts.
* **Developer Tools That Make Sense:** Get introduced to SDKs in TypeScript, Go, and Python. Tools designed to help you build with standardized tooling that's professionally maintained.
* **The Overlay Services Paradigm:** Discover a practical approach to building scalable applications using overlay services. Leverage the benefits of a public blockchain while maintaining full ACID and CRUD control over your data.
