The speaker, Carmine Paolino is an AI engineer and creator of RubyLLM, the de facto standard Ruby library for building applications with large language models, and Chat with Work, an AI coworker that helps teams access and act on company knowledge. Previously, he co-founded Freshflow, where he applied AI to reduce food waste in supermarkets. His work focuses on making AI practical, reliable, and useful in real-world software.
